Scam warning: We have had reports of participants being emailed by "Global Travel" and/or "Royal Travel", posing as travel agents in connection with this conference. Please treat such emails as spam. All genuine correspondence will come directly from the University of Southampton via a address.

This event is for active researchers (faculty, postdocs and PhD students) in high-energy theory.

Contributed talks
Unusually for conferences in our field, we are aiming for around half of the participants to give a talk. Around half of the plenary talks and the majority of the parallel talks will be allocated from abstract submissions. We warmly encourage both senior and junior researchers to submit an abstract using the following link, by 11 June.

Registration involves two steps:

Step 1. Indico registration: this has closed, since the conference is close to capacity.
In due course, we may be able to admit some more people, subject to funding and space constraints. If you would like to sign up to the Waiting List, please email the organisers as described above.

Step 2. Upon receiving an email that your Indico registration has been approved, please proceed to pay your registration fee and optionally book accommodation / excursion / banquet in the Southampton Online Store.

Registration fees are subsidised by our sponsors and are as follows.

Basic registration fee (talks, lunches, coffees):

Subsidised registration fee:  £125  (sold out)

Non-subsidised registration fee:  £280

From 3 June 2024, registrations received (via the Waiting list) will be subject to the non-subsidised rate, unless we secure additional funding.

Basic registration includes talks, lunches, coffee breaks, and a drinks reception on the evening of Mon 2 Sept.

Accommodation options (4/5/6-night packages):

Per night (incl. breakfast):  £46.50

Rooms are available for conference attendees only. If you wish to bring guests, please make your own arrangements. Rooms are single and en-suite with breakfast included in the Glen Eyre Halls of Residence (15 minute walk from campus). 4, 5, or 6-night packages are available. Rooms must be reserved in Step 2 of registration and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. A list of accommodation around the city centre is provided for those who may wish to stay elsewhere.

Excursion and banquet options (limited places remaining):

Excursion:  £20
Banquet:  £50

On Wednesday 4th Sept, there will be an afternoon excursion followed by the Conference Dinner in the evening. Both will take place in Winchester, a 20-minute drive from Southampton. The excursion will be a 90-minute walking tour of historic Winchester, including admission to the Great Hall. The dinner will be held in Winchester Guildhall. We will be providing transport to Winchester and back to Highfield campus for people attending the excursion and/or conference dinner, via coaches that will go to Winchester before the excursion and return to Highfield campus after the dinner.
