Heidi informed a bit about the center in general.
Heidi informed about NorCC agreement with CERN on co-funding of PhD students.
- As soon as it is signed by UiO and CERN (which is any day now), it will be active for other institutions as soon as they sign (rector level).
Heidi informed about the two current calls NorCC are aiming to submit to:
- "KI-milliard": https://www.forskningsradet.no/forskningspolitikk-strategi/ltp/kunstig-intelligens/.
  - NorCC aims to submit a sketch.
  - NorCC will have weekly meetings until the sketch deadline on June 7. The meeting slot will probably be Fridays 12:15, feel free to take part in these to figure out if UiA wants to join the initiative.
    - Eli will send more information about these meetings when the details are finalized.
- SFI: https://www.forskningsradet.no/sok-om-finansiering/midler-fra-forskningsradet/sfi/.
  - NorCC aims to submit an application, led by Armin Hafner at NTNU.
  - Armin has planned a status meeting next week, at 13:00 on May 7.
    - Eli will forward the meeting invitation from Armin, feel free to join to figure out if UiA wants to join the initiative.
More to discuss, so we should aim to have somewhat regular meetings.
