TECHNICAL TOUR BUSES WILL LOAD FROM THE CROWNE PLAZA HOTEL AT 8:00 AM EST
On Thursday, September 12, 2024, there will be a guided tour of the Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL) campus including the historic Graphite Reactor, the Supercomputer, and the Spallation Neutron Source.
During the conference registration process, you must also register for the tour. Tour registration must be completed by July 23, 2024.
Note: For foreign nationals, within a few days following registration an email will be sent with an invitation to visit ORNL. The invitation will ask for Personally Identifiable Information (PII) including your name (must match passport exactly/no nicknames), passport information, immigration information, education, and you also must provide a resume/CV that covers the last 10 years or until your 18th birthday with no gaps. This information is required per Department of Energy – DOE Order 142.3B. Unfortunately, if you are from a country that is designated State Sponsor of Terrorism you may not partake in the ORNL tours. Buses will depart from the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Knoxville at 8:00 AM EST.
Once arriving at the ORNL campus there will be a final check-in for passengers.
Buses will depart from the ORNL campus at approximately 12:00 PM EST and arrive at the Crowne Plaza at 12:45 PM EST.
There are a limited number of seats available, and they will be granted on a first-come-first-serve basis.
