RPC DCS Atm Pressure Sensor Update [elog]:
- Current value taken from ATLAS DCS Cooling and Ventilation sensor in UX-15
- The local RPC probe located at level 8 of ATLAS is no used anymore.
- New data point locally on ATLRPCSCS has been created to collect all relevant pressure probes.
- Values are copied and archived and accessible from the RPC FSM panel.
- Control Scripts RpcHvControl (on SCS) and RpcEnvCorr (on the 4xLCSs) have been updated to use values consistently.
- Added option on switching preferred probe.
- The local probe has been restored to its original value and is kept for monitoring.

RPCs were stuck in TRANSITION for some minutes after stable beams due to pressure sensore update [elog]:
- HV channels ramped to v1 manually
High DeltaIgap for BML.B.05.CO.Ly0 and BML.B.05.CO.Ly1 HV channel [elog]:
- DeltaIgap > 16μA/m2 for BML2C05.CO.DP2.Ly1.DZ2 gas gap for BML.B.05.CO.Ly1 HV channel;
Monitoring application RPCGnam-ROD-Merge crashed due to pad sending corrupted data [elog]:
- Power cycle of all pads as it is unknown which pad was sending corrupted data.
Cavern access on the 10th May [D. Boscherini, S. Buda, S. Simsek , M. Zaazoua, elog]:
- The following gaps have been disconnected and information on DCS have been updated accordingly: BOL6A07.CO.DP1.Ly1.DZ1, BOL6A07.CO.DP2.Ly1.DZ1, BML3A03.CO.DP1.Ly1.DZ1, BOL2A01.CO.DP2.Ly0.DZ1.
- Replaced one VTRx connector on the pad of BIS78 sector A10. Work in progress on DAQ side.
Some Vpad channels in sectors C05 and C06 OFF [elog]:
- Vpad channels OFF: BOL3C05, BOS4C06, BOS3C06, BOL4C05. The channels were switched back ON.
HV channels BOL.B.01.CO.Ly0.RO and BOL.A3.07.CO.Ly1 didn't rump up automatically [elog]:
- They were ramped up manually to 9350 V after ~30 min giving NOT_READY.
HV channel BOL.A.01.CO.Ly1.HV tripped a couple of times
- Current surpassed 290uA, i0 first set to 300uA and then to 320uA [elog];
- io changed to 340uA [elog] and to 360uA [elog];
- voltage lowered to 9200V [elog] and then to 8800V [elog].
HV channel BOL.C.01.CO.Ly0.HV lowered to 5000V by safety script:
- HV first lowered to 9300V [elog] and then to 8800V [elog].
HV channels BOS.A3.10.CO.Ly0 and BML.B.15.CO.Ly1 lowered to 5000V by safety script [elog]:
- BOS.A3.10.CO.Ly0 HV channel lowered to 5000V due to HvGapSafety for BOS5A10.CO.DP2.Ly0.DZ2 gas gap (60.07 uA 9352V);
- BML.B.15.CO.Ly1 HV channel lowered to 5000V due to HvGapSafety for BML2A15.CO.DP2.Ly1.DZ2 gas gap (60.11 uA 9473V).
Overcurrent in RPC LV BMSA16 [elog]:
- 3 oscillations reported by the shifter during night, I did not see it in the next run with stable beams. No action taken.
ATLRPCH1 branch03 crate5 board05 Temperature at online value 50 [elog, elog]:
- The board is connected to LV Vee for sectors BML1C03.PI, BML4C03.PI, BMS1C04 which were all OK.
- No action needs to be taken for temperature increase. If the temperature increases too much, safety scripts automatically switch off hardware.
- The error was first turned into a warning. The online values stuck at 50 and the warning fixed. Masked from the DCS alarm screen as a warning.
