Present: Matthew Wing, Fern Pannell, Davide Cooke, Edda Gschwendtner, Nikita Zena van Gils, Marlene Turner
Nikita:
- Progress on correlation between acceleration events and other experimental parameters:
- Halo not a good predictor
- There may be one BPM in the electron beamline
- Q (DC): could one use the BPMs upstream to predict the trajectory downstream?
- C (DC): it may make sense to apply cuts, i.e. to select for round halos and then look at other correlations
Fern:
- Progress on acceleration events:
- Oct 18 at 6.2e14: still clear increase in e-energy with step, SPSC events were rather typical events --> better show full waterfall or histogram in the future
- repetition of these parameters in May: less clear, but also a different e-delay
- June measurements have high reproducibility (~80%) in acceleration events
To do (discussed previously):
- Emittance analysis for different cameras
- Analysis of the 3.8e14 acceleration events in Oct
- Correlation between acceleration events and laser alignment and proton beam alignment
There are minutes attached to this event.
Show them.
