Information for presenters

All presenters must be fully registered for HP2026 and must have paid the registration fee by the registration deadline.

Oral presentations will be projected from the conference room computer using the final PDF uploaded by the speaker to Indico. Speakers will not be able to use personal laptops. The aspect ratio of the projectors is 16:9. Please make sure to upload a PDF, not another format.

All presenters should upload their slides to Indico the day before their talk.

Plenary presentations

Please verify the duration of your plenary talk in the timetable.

Experimental overview talks on Monday and conference highlights on Friday have various durations. These sessions do not include a separate question period.

Regular plenary presentations are 25 minutes total: 20 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for questions.

Testing slides on the conference's projectors

Plenary speakers who wish to verify their slides on the conference's projectors before their talk can do so in the Commodore Ballroom (main room) of the Student Life Center at the following times:

  • Monday 7:30am to 8:15am
  • Thursday 8:00am to 8:45am
  • Friday 7:30am to 8:15am

Parallel presentations

Parallel presentations are 20 minutes total: 15 minutes for the talk and 5 minutes for questions.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to your session to verify that your slides are projecting properly, and that they are the correct version of your slides.

Poster presentations

Posters should be in portrait orientation, not landscape. Posters should be no larger than 36 in × 48 in (914 mm × 1219 mm). Standard A0 posters, 33.1 in × 46.8 in (841 mm × 1189 mm), will fit in the allocated space. Poster presenters should upload a PDF version of their poster to Indico before the poster session so that participants can consult it online. Poster setup instructions will be provided later.
