The goal has been to launch the discussion about the integration and requirements of the different electrical services needed for HL BGI POLARIS power converters (see link).

DISCUSSION

DC

• Request provided by Gunn to Gael.
• EPC contact is Gilles Le Godec.
• DC cables from PC to magnet can’t be reused. New cables to be pulled.
• Cable routing study to be developed by Gael and Ioanna. Study cable population and availability of cores that connect UAs and RAs.
• J. Emonds-Alt to be added in the loop.
• Discussions have been held with J. Gascon for 40 kV HV cable definition and procurement (custom or standard, TBD).

Fibers

• Georgi to organize a meeting with Gunn and BSRT corresponding counterpart for checking which fibers can be reused.

FGC3

• Managed by Karol Motala (EPC).
• Ticket provided for UA43. Needs to be updated with UA47 (IP4 right side). Miguel to contact Gilles Le Godec.

WIC

• Managed by Richard Mompo (MPE).

Interlock Machine Protection

• Managed by Jan Uythoven (MPE).
• Miguel to contact Dominique Bodart for updates on magnet design and machine protection feedback from MPE.

Old BGI Deinstallation

• Gunn to provide DEC for old BGI cable de-cabling and
• Power converters deinstallation during LS3 come from SY-EPC ?
