Updates from Adrian:

• I’ve updated the CERN Twiki page on the APEL client to provide the manual workaround for the LDAP issue: https://twiki.cern.ch/twiki/bin/view/LCG/DeploymentNewAPELClientSideSW  
• I merged the fix for the LDAP issue in APEL this week and built a new release. This release will also fix a VOMS attribute issue. I will start to distribute it after running it past the original reporting site. Channels will be: CERN repo, APEL SW Twiki page, broadcast: https://github.com/apel/apel/releases/tag/2.1.0-1  
• With thanks to the info that Ivan provided by email, I believe I understand the issue Ivan is having and it should be a simple fix of installing a slightly newer release candidate. Will reply to his email directly.
• I will be at the GridPP collab meeting next week, with an APEL update presented by Tom.

Updates from Carlos:

• Carlos is in contact with Ivan preparing a new contract. It may take some time, but he will try and speed it up.
• On holiday next week.

Julia will be on holidays from the 30th pf August tothe 16th of September. The meetings should take place in her absence to followup on the progress
