Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has graciously consented to preside over the opening ceremony of CHEP2026, to be held at the Main Auditorium, Chulalongkorn University, on Monday, May 25, 9:00 AM
The Local Organizing Committee humbly requests the honor of your presence at this ceremony.
Please arrive BEFORE 7:45 AM (Better to arrive by 7:30 if you would like to take breakfast).
To confirm your participant: Take a survey, choose "Opening Ceremony".

Dress Code: Business Formal / Semi-Formal (see figure below as an example)

Women: A knee-length dress, dress pants, or a modest skirt with a blouse is recommended. A suit is not required.

Men: Business or smart casual attire is recommended. A suit or blazer is welcome but not required; a tie is optional. A shirt and pants are enough. Due to the mourning period, white shirts or dark-colored tones are appreciated.

Please avoid jeans and open-toe shoes. If wearing sports shoes, we recommend choosing understated or dark colors where possible.

In line with the current mourning period, we kindly ask that attire follow a black, white, or subdued tone (e.g., white or black shirt with dark trousers or skirt)
Note :
- Coffee and a light breakfast will be served before the ceremony.
- Due to the strict ceremony, children under 7 years old are not recommended. We do apologize for any inconvenience caused.
- You may bring a small bag (e.g., a laptop bag or a handbag). For security reasons, please do not bring pocket knives or any sharp objects.
- If you arrive at Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) early Monday morning and would like to participate in the ceremony, we recommend using the Taxi service. The cost is about 400-500 THB (10-13 CHF) including toll fees. The travel time is about 45 min. So if you arrive and get your luggage around 6 AM, you should be able to make it. We will provide a room to store your luggage, suitcases, and carry-on bags at the opening ceremony venue.
