Salient points.

1. Teh recording on the meeting is updated on the agenda page, https://indico.cern.ch/event/1473156/. 
2. We introduced Osama and Walaa who are taking charge of arranging the logistics of the meeting in Cairo.
3. We introduced Prof. Imana Adraoui who was appointed by the Materials Physics Conveners to represented them in Cairo and speak on the Materials Physics & Condensed Matter topics and chapter.
4. We discussed the travel arrangements and logistics for the working meeting in Egypt in December.
   • Some folks did not receive letters of invitaiton for visa applications. We have already followed up.
   • Some folks received flight itineraries and indicated their preferred itineraries but have not yet received feedback. We have already followed up on this. Itineraries will be decided based on costs and available budget.
   • We request that the people covered by UNESCO be present for the entire meeting on December 15-17 (arriving on December 14 and departing on December 18); partial attendance is not accapetable for these folks. The intention is not just tot participate for your own field / chapter, but to be available to see how other chapters relate to yours, and comment to improve those chapters too — if these people wish to stay longer in Egypt, they should arrange coverage for their personal days.
   • We suggest that all travelers send their final itineraries to Osama for the arrangement of airport transfers in Cairo.
   • In-person participants should contact Osama for hotel arrangements.
   • For the people covered by UNESCO, bring receipt for visa application fee.
5. Scientific agenda for the Working meeting in December
   
   • We reviewed the agenda for the meeting in December.
   • We will soon identify and approach potential speakers. In-person speakers are preferred, unless for some specific fields, there are no in-person representations.
   • We suggest that speakers focus on the current content of their chapter in the ASFAP report, how they intend to improv further adn when, how it related to other chapters in ASFAP report.
   • We suggest that speakers, in preparing their talks, glance at other related or connected chapters in the report, to be well acquainted with commonalities, repeated materials, to better speak to synchronization.
   • In the afternoon of December 17,
     • there will be a summary session of the 4 major areas, namely, Societal Engagements, Particles and Related Applications, Light Sources and Applications, and Cross-cutting Fields. We will identify and approach for 4 in-person participants to take note during the discussions and prepare these summaries with recommendations.
     • In the session on the "Final Report Synthesis", we will discuss the final chapters to be retained going into the final report. Only these chapters will be developed further in 2025 leading to the final symposium in September 2025 in Togo.
   • We ask Gihan and Simon to identify someone to come to Cairo, representating Light Sources.
   • We have not received feedback from the conveners of Optics & Photonics / Laser Physics.
   • We have not received feedback from the conveners of Complex Systems.
6. AOB
   • Peter submitted comments on the Particle Physics chapter. We approached Deepak Kar to help improve that chapter in addressing these comments. 
   • Simon said he will have time in the last week of November to work on the chapters on Nuclear Physics, Particle Physics and Light Sources.
   • Our next online meeting will be on December 4, before the Cairo working meeting.
