  the 9th International Conference on Micro-Pattern Gaseous Detectors\, MPG
 D2026. This year's edition will be hosted by the Institute of Experimental
  and Applied Physics at the Czech Technical University in Prague\, Czech R
 epublic\, from August 30 to September 4\, 2026.\n \nFollowing an already 
 long series of very exciting and proficuous gatherings which started in Cr
 ete\, Grece (2009) and continued in Kobe\, Japan (2011)\, Zaragoza\, Spain
  (2013)\, Trieste\, Italy (2015)\, Philadelphia\, USA (2017)\, La Rochel
 le\, France (2019)\, Rehovot\, Israel (2022) and Hefei\, China (2024)\, we
  are pleased to welcome you in Prague\, a city of science\, music\, cultur
 e and art.\n \nPlenary sessions of contributed talks will be preceded by 
 invited talks that will give a broad perspective of MPGD in the realm of g
 aseous detectors and also other technologies. A poster session will also t
 ake place\, offering a further opportunity to present research work.\n \n
 \nThe topics covered in the conference include\n● Simulation and softwar
 e\n● Detector physics\n● MPGD technologies\n● Applications\n● Elec
 tronics\n● Production techniques\n\n \nThe proceedings will be publish
 ed in the Journal of Instrumentation. The submission procedure will start
