Description

A meeting with Dr. Bianka Siwińska (PhD), President of the Educational Foundation Perspektywy, organized as part of the IT Department Diversity & Inclusion Office’s initiative to promote equity and representation in STEM, with the support of the CERN Diversity & Inclusion Programme.

The event will focus on analyzing the situation of women in STEM and fostering collaboration to leverage the knowledge and experience of women working at CERN in driving positive change.

Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit is Europe’s biggest conference for women in Technology and Science that brings the best inspiration, knowledge and networking opportunities for its participants. Our aim is to share knowledge, empower women in STEM, and narrow the gender gap within these fields. Last year we brought together 10 000 participants from over 100 countries. The Summit is also a powerful voice for diversity, equality and human rights.

Each year, the summit features inspiring female scientists, tech specialists, activists, and leaders, including trailblazers such as:

Anna Lee Fisher – NASA astronaut and the first mother in space

Funmilola Fagbamila – Founding member of Black Lives Matter

Margot Gerritsen – Data Science icon from Stanford University

Francesca Cavallo – Activist, bestselling author, and girls’ empowerment advocate

This year the Summit will take place on 4-5 June 2025 in Warsaw, Poland.
