Outcome:
- The meeting was organized into two parts: OSG/EGEE security inter-working and OSG/EGEE security auditing plans. Both including presentations and updates, and plenty of discussions.
- It was agreed to investigate cross-grid challenges, e.g. speed of patch propagation.
- Auditing:
a. We agreed that we all have requirements for complete and easy to use audit logs and tools.
b. Moving towards a standards based approach will be very beneficial and therefore working together on this is very desirable.
c. EGEE should provide input to the SOS work on the experience and tools we currently have (security service challenge experience, CERN local site tools - Romain Wartel, etc). Also we should feed in our requirements.
d. We agreed to aim to co-locate a workshop on this topic (SOS, OSG and EGEE and others?) with the OSG Consortium meeting in San Diego - March 2007.
e. OGF working group on standardising this should be investigated, but this should build on the experiences of the joint SOS/OSG/EGEE work.
