Salient points:

1. We will finalize the draft by our next meeting on March 26.
   • The Steering Committee will update the Executive Summary, and add a forward and conclusions with high level recommendations. However, this is best done with the full draft of all the chapters in place.
   • We therefore suggest to complete your chapter by March 19—then the Steering Committee will add the rest between March 19-26.
   • We will review the full draft during the meeting on March 26, and any minor comments will be addressed until April 1.
   • You are encouraged to comment on the other chapters, without editing them. You may add your comments directly in Overleaf or send them to the relevant conveners.
   • Many chapters do not have a list of recommendations. Please add such a list within the scope of your chapter, by March 19.
2. The draft will be sent to the IAC on April 1, with the expectation to receive and address IAC feedback / comments by June.
3. The ASFAP symposium is planned for September 22-25, 2025 at the University of Lomé, Togo, following the 4th African Conference on Fundamental and Applied Physics, planned there, on September 14-20, ACP2025, https://indico.cern.ch/event/1458227/. You should register to attend ACP2025 and stay for the ASFAP symposium.
4. We should expect community feedback at the symposium; these to be addressed after the symposium. 
5. UNESCO wants to edit / format the final draft so that they will not have to redo it—they will put a lot money and resources into this, so they want to do it only once, after the comments at the symposium are addressed. 
   • However, when the IAC comments are addressed, the draft will go to UNESCO first an initial assessment.
