Foreign visitors to Miyazaki City will most likely arrive at Miyazaki Bougainvillea Airport (KMI). Transportation from the airport to the workshop venue is as follows:
(1) By train: Trains run 2-3 times per hour from the airport to Miyazaki Station, followed by a taxi to the venue (~2 km). The train takes approximately 15 minutes and costs about JPY 400 and the taxi takes approximately 7 minutes and about JPY 1,000.
(2) By bus: Buses run about once per hour towards Miyazaki Station, stopping at the Tachibanadori 1-chome bus stop, the closest bus top to the venue, followed by an 800 m walk; the bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes and costs about JPY 450.
(2) By taxi: A direct ride from the airport to the venue (~9 km); it takes approximately 15-20 minutes and costs about JPY 3,000.
