Participants are deemed to be professionally covered, within the scope of their activities, by their employer’s general civil liability insurance, covering bodily injury and property damage, with territorial validity including France and Switzerland.
CERN maintains its own general liability insurance for cases in which CERN may be held liable for bodily injury to third parties, including conference participants.
Participants are strongly advised to arrange appropriate international travel insurance covering medical emergencies, accidents, and repatriation costs, to include France and Switzerland.
Participants installing displays, or other equipment remain solely responsible for any damage to their own property and for any damage caused to third parties or to CERN property.
