DESCRIPTION: \nIn a formal ceremony the Physics Department of the AUTh aw
 arded a honorary doctorate to CERN’s DG Dr. Fabiola Gianotti.\nThe cerem
 ony was followed by an event celebrating the 70th birthday CERN. After sho
 rt talks and a review of all the Greek celebrations\, Dr. Gianotti talked 
 about “CERN: the past\, present and future”. Then Dr. C. Markou\, the 
 Greek representative to CERN Council\, talked about “Greece at CERN” a
 nd the event finished by  talk of Prof. D. Sampsonidis\, the Greek repres
 entative in RECFA\, about “AUTh at CERN”. A large audience of students
