Description

To prepare for the Nordic ESPP meeting taking place in Uppsala May 7-8 2025 - link to indico agenda, we are organizing a separate meeting April 16 welcoming all Nordic early career researchers (ECRs) to discuss the future of particle physics  💫

We will start the meeting by sharing the different inputs put forward by ECRs so far, either in our different national inputs or in the ESPP ECR White Paper done by a collective of European ECRs (with strong Nordic representation!).

Then, we hope to have a free and open discussion about anything related to the ESPP and the future of particle physics, focusing on, but not necessarily limiting us to, ECR-related questions. Questions like, what sort of physics is interesting to us? What should be the next collider at CERN? What is important in this process, and for the future, for ECRs? And many more.

The discussion will be summarized and presented at the Nordic ESPP meeting - link to time slot in the agenda.

All ECRs working in high energy physics, nuclear physics, astroparticle physics, and other closely related fields are welcome!

Zoom only!
