Here is the Atlas report: 30/8 - 5/9.

Sites:
======

RAL-LCG2: Problem with overloaded MCTAPE space token. To be solved
adding more hardware to it. The whole RAL lost the network
connectivity on sunday evening. The cloud was put offline for few
hours on Monday morning. Everything back to normal.

UKI-LT2-QMUL: Problem with disk space publishing caused by an
automatic update. Solved. Currently not receiving production jobs 
since RAL networking problem. The problem is with the input files are 
in pending state waiting to be copied. The cause of this is still not
understood as the task was running correctly before.

UKI-SCOTGRID-DURHAM: problem with failing jobs due to the expected
output file not being there seems caused by python. The problem is
actually affecting quite few sites, it's one of those low level but
continuously present errors that rarely get looked at. The ticket
hasn't been updated since 1/9/11 though. 

UKI-SOUTHGRID-BHAM-HEP: Transfer problems still to be investigated.

Atlas:
======

SCRATCHDISK: thanks to hurricane Irene shutting down BNL we got many
more analysis jobs than usual and quite few sites got their SCRATCH
area full and the automatic cleanup system wasn't working
correctly. Some sites had to increase the size of the space token to
avoid blacklisting.

New svn system to maintain factories configuration at CERN. Elena put
together an updated configuration. We plan to use the same svn source 
for the Glasgow factory when it will be upgraded at the end of
September to keep them in sync and avoid problems we had in the 
past with queues disappearing if one of the factories goes down.
 
cvmfs: new version of cvmfs is out. There is no need anymore to point
at CERN for atlas new repositories as Manchester did and there is no 
need to delete files. In the next mini release they are going to
improve the mount time on busy machines. On Manchester machines 
it takes abitually between 8s-11s  with spikes of 18s-20s when the 
machine is really running flat. The new version shold bring this down 
to 2s.
