Description
CMD-3 experiment at the VEPP-2000 collider (BINP, Novosibirsk) has collected over 1 fb$^{-1}$ of data from $e^+e^-$ annihilations at center-of-mass energies below 2 GeV. The major goal of the experiment is a comprehensive study of $e^+e^-\to hadrons$.
We will review the recent results and their implications for the evaluation of the hadronic contribution to the (g-2) of muon. We will outline plans for the next round of experiments aimed at achieving a 3-4 fold improvement in precision.
