Description

The Relativistic Heavy Ion Collider (RHIC), located at Brookhaven National Laboratory, is celebrating its 25th year of operation, making a significant contribution in nuclear physics research.
Over the past 25 years, RHIC has been instrumental in studying fundamental aspects of matter by colliding a variety of atomic nuclei, from protons to uranium, at different energies from 3 to 200 GeV, providing a broad spectrum of data for analysis. In this presentation I will review some of the key results from the RHIC heavy-ion physics program.
