EGI Technical Forum : Ivan, Pina, Vicky and Kathryn will be present at
EGI TF in Lyon. Pina reports that the booth will be arranged with the
new posters, and that she booked a video for the projection of the new
video committed by PO. Pina asks if Vicky could help her on running
the booth, Vicky confirms she'll be available.
Emidio asks Kathryn the situation for the tutorial : Kathryn says that
will be followed the same schedule as DCISS and Vilnius; accounts and
certificates have to be asked to GILDA, and agenda have to be set. She
will do these as soon as possible. Tutors will be Kathryn (gLite),
Ivan (ARC), Rebecca (UNICORE, to be confirmed).
EMI activities have to be advertised on the web site.
New layout for the web site : Nadine is waiting for picture portlet from
Piotr Bala. Andrea says that will deploy a test version for testing
the new features, among which the portlet that allows to rotate
images. Andrea specifies that the existing content will be imported
seamlessy into the new layout, no need to do manual migration.
(EMI) middleware event for 2012 : Emidio asks Kathryn whether
StratusLab is considering something similar and could be interested in
participating. Kathryn says they should be. Pina asks the possible
period and location, Emidio says February and Italy. Pina says that
February might be too tight. Diana suggests to shape it as a
lightweight workshop by middleware providers, that should not overlap
with conference themes. Emidio asks Pina to provide a checklist of
actions, in order to evaluate if February deadline is really too
strict.
Emidio reminds Pina and Kathryn about the deliverable
deadlines. Kathryn answers that she'll provide DNA2.2.2 TOC by
tomorrow. Pina says she is busy next week running the booth in
Lyon. Emidio asks Andrea if he can help, he answers that he will
provide TOC by next Tuesday.
Emidio asks Kathryn about the DCISS integrating practical, that should
be copied on the public web site. Kathryn says will do it by the end
of the week.
AOB : Next week meeting won't be hold because of EGI TF, next meeting
is scheduled for 27/9
