We are pleased to announce that the Workshop on isospin symmetry violation: kaons and beyond (ISO‑BREAK 25) will be held at the Institute of Physics of Jan Kochanowski University in Kielce on October 23–25, 2025 (Thursday – Saturday).
The workshop follows the publication of the isospin-breaking article by the NA61/SHINE and theory colleagues in Nature Communications (https://rdcu.be/emX58) and the subsequent discussion at the open session of the NA61/SHINE Collaboration meeting in Dubrovnik.
During the workshop, we plan to have ample time to present and discuss subjects related to the Nature article – the observation of the isospin breaking beyond known effects. In particular, we should discuss the possibility of testing the results with new high-precision measurements, extending them to hadrons other than kaons, and brainstorming on their interpretations.
The number of participants is limited to approximately 30, and therefore, participation will be moderated by the organizers.
The workshop is co-financed by the Polish Minister of Science under the “Excellence Initiative” Program (Project No: RID/SP/0015/2024/01)
There is no conference fee.
