A collaborative workshop organised by the Staff Association.

Bringing together CERN staff members aged 50 and over, the workshop invites participants to reflect on how motivation, engagement and meaningful contribution can be sustained in the later stages of a professional career.

It aims to explore how workplace conditions, leadership, recognition and career development shape late-career experiences, and how the knowledge, skills and expertise built over time can continue to be valued and put to good use.

Through a structured, participatory approach, participants are invited to share their perspectives, examine potential challenges and identify opportunities for positive change.

The workshop provides a forum for exchanging ideas and reflecting on factors that can support the continued motivation, engagement and contribution of late-career professionals at CERN.
