On Wednesday, August 12

Location: Monte de San Pedro

Notice that a free shuttle bus service to transport participants will depart at 12:45 towards Monte San Pedro from Puerta Real, immediately after the last talk on Wednesday.

* If the forecast is favourable, we will all remain at Monte San Pedro after lunch and will have access to the restaurant facilities throughout the afternoon and evening until the time of the eclipse. Buses will then take us back to A Coruña, a short while after totality, around 21:00.
 * If the forecast is unfavourable, we will leave Monte San Pedro after lunch and travel by bus to a location offering better observing conditions (several options have been studied, within about one hour distance). Again, buses will then take us back to A Coruña, a short while after totality, around 21:00. Of course, whoever prefers to remain for the whole day at Monte San Pedro regardless of the weather, can do so (it is a 50' easy walk downhill back to the city center).
