On GPS, ¹⁶²Yb beams were sent to Miniball for the second experiment in their plunger campaign, aimed at measuring lifetimes of excited states. Combined with standard Coulomb excitation measurements, the goal is to determine the deformation of these bands, including possible triaxiality. The experiment has been running smoothly, with no major issues from the machine side, and the users are satisfied. The run will continue for one additional day after the technical stop to complete the Coulomb excitation part of the experiment.
