External s/w

    - oracle
        - a new version 10.2.0.3 has been installed. This new version contains amd64 binaries
          This version is the "thin" client. I.e. no extra libraries for language bindings.
        - 10.2.0.3 does not contain macos binaries they are only available for 10.1.x. LCGCMT
           we will point for mac osx to 10.1 and 10.2.0.3 for all other platforms
        - this 10.2.0.3 and 10.1.x will be part of the upcoming LCG 52 configuration

    - mysql 
        - A problem was reported by ATLAS that the binaries are pointing into the afs are for
          some language binding. Andreas will look into it.

    - Grid installation 
        - progressing / slc4 binaries installed in the /Grid directory / LCGCMT configuration 
            is coming soon now. 
         - runtime confguration is wanted 

    - Build from source
        - in connection with the new system for build from source a responsible person is
          assigned to each package/project. The LCG AA developers are put for their project.

Nightlies

    - coral builds/tests on mac osx were failing so far due to missing externals (oracle, etc). With
       the changes in the configuration it is expected to cure these problem.s

    - a slot for exercising the s/w stack with gcc 4.1 was requested. gcc 4.1 will be installed in the 
      contrib area of the externals pointing to it. The external s/w will use gcc 3.4 binaries as they 
      are reported to work cross platform.

LCG / AA / s/w

    - a test of coral (from LCG 51) against the new oracle 10.2.0.3 client was requested.
    
    - next LCG configuration (52)
        - new POOL binary compatible bug fixes
        - oracle 10.2.0.3 which cures problems
