People are the key to successful software. The HSF-India project aims to promote the development of international research software collaborations. This is the 9th in a series of workshops for software and data analysis skills essential for doing research software in physics. Our curriculum builds upon the successful series of workshops.
This workshop covers
- Scientific Python
- Basics and applications of machine learning
- Software of the Belle-II experiment
This event is organized primarily for PhD students and masters students from the surrounding region. However, anyone is welcome to attend.
The dates of this workshop are 5 to 9 January 2026. Registration is now closed. Feel free to contact us in case of questions.

This workshop will include tutorials specifically focused on Belle-II (as parallel sessions). Therefore, we will follow the workshop with a 1.5 day Belle II Analysis Workshop (BAW) on the 9th and 10th of January open to Belle-II collaborators only. A seperate indico will be made for the BAW soon, but please indicate in your registration if you intend to join the BAW too.
The registration fee for the Workshop is 2000 Rs and for the Workshop and BAW it will be 3000 Rs. Accommodation will be charged separately and options will be given to the participants upon registration. We have some limited support for accommodation but none for travel.
This event is supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation grant OISE-2201990.
