- LHT:
- Majority of things which do not require access to beam area are well advanced
- We need to move the H2 sensor hood in 887/R-C54 (see photo)
- Target vessel installation is scheduled for 10.09
- Activity in the area is significantly limited by the lack of MD days
- We have decided not to use power interlocks for detectors located in close proximity to the target. We plan to install additional shielding for the VTPC1 electronics and modify the beam detectors (V1, DWC3) to move electrical parts to a safe distance.
- We are going to use the available electrical infrastructure in the buffer area. Power of the buffer jacket will be 3040 watts, mono-phase. (see another photo)
- There is a issue with the dates for the ATEX training courses. The ATEX Level 0 training is scheduled to the end of October. The ATEX Level 1 training is scheduled for September 23, and participants must complete the ATEX Level 0 training course in order to take it.
- Others:
- Maintenance and small modification of a water distribution in 887/R-052. Who can I contact?
- Grease for PSD platform

P371 will end its run in T11 area this week, including removal of their equipment.
Removal of temporary platform for P371 in T11 scheduled for Monday 1 Sep.
CLOUD instrument arrivals, installations, calibrations and safety inspections scheduled for 3 - 19 Sep, for CLOUD18 run start on Monday 22 Sep.
Recent alarm in Nitrogen monoxyde detector in CLOUD lead to evacuation. Seemingly a false alarm as no such products were in use in the area, nothing was detected in the Fire Brigade inspection. The detector cartridge will be replaced next week by EN-AA.
