TestBeam:

• PS between Oct 15 and Oct 29
• 4 GEMs with X&Y view are under test at the GDD: their characterization is on-going with APVs; some time lost in finding the best grounding configuration and a proper HV range to avoid APVs saturation; plans to finish by this month. @Alessandro, any other update on this?
• rotameters: Michele B. has already asked Roberto Guida for 2 pair of rotameter
• scintillators: next week Lisa will be at cern for the characterization of the 3 scintillators we will use in our structure
• structure preparation:
  • crane operators have preferred to anchor the structure from the top bosh profiles, while the design was made in view of anchoring the structure from the bottom -> decided to add few extra metallic plate to strengthen the structure; a Bari technician will come next week to cern
  • services preparation will be done next week
• DAQ:
  • will we use vmm? if so, how many we have?
  • if we will go on with APVs, we will not have to many: 11 master and 12 slave
• Monitoring:
  • asked for a central grafana and influx -> good for having our setup ready and running also after the testbeam at the north area
• preparation area:
  • try to move the structure earlier to PS area to start HV training and gas flushing; in contact with Michael Lazzaroni and  Aboubakr Rahmoun
