How to reach the venue
The Vienna International Airport (VIE) in Wien-Schwechat is located about 20 km south-east of Vienna and offers easy access, including direct flights from/to Geneva (operated by Austrian Airlines).
The City Airport Train (CAT) from the airport VIE to train station Wien-Mitte/Landstraße takes 16 minutes with departures from the airport every 30 minutes (single ticket 14,90 Euros).
There are also local trains called “S-Bahn” on the same tracks to Wien-Mitte/Landstraße, departing every 30 minutes from the airport. Tickets are available at vending machines directly at the station (5.30 Euros) and are valid for connections in Vienna as well (urban railways, underground, tram and bus).
Taxi from the airport to the venue costs about 50 Euros (as of 2025).
By train:
When arriving at Vienna central railway station ("Wien Hauptbahnhof"), take the underground U1 to “Schwedenplatz or Stephansplatz”.
When arriving at "Wien Westbahnhof" (e.g. by private Westbahn train operator) use U3 to Stubentor.
