We treated all your layout requests, and would like to answer your questions:
1. Since Marianne Ludwig unfortunately left science, she agreed that I become the corresponding author of this proceeding, while she still is first author.
2. You are right that it is hard to see a "kink" in the examples. First, this feature does not occur in all events, and, second, it corresponds more to a bending than to a king. Thus, we have changed the text accordingly.
