Visa requirements to enter Germany / the Schengen Area:
- Citizens of the EU/Schengen Area and of some other countries do not need a visa to visit Germany.
- The nationalities requiring a visa are listed in Annex I of Regulation (EU) 2018/1806 (updated version for 2025 here).
- For those of you that require a visa, we can provide the necessary documents (like a reference letter) for your short stay visa applications.
- Visa will not be necessary if the interested party has a valid residence permit or a valid long-term visa issued by a Schengen State.
