ICDMS will offer four fee-waiver grants to UK-based Master’s students, PhD students, and early-career postdoctoral researchers who submit an abstract. These grants are supported by the London Mathematical Society.
Submission deadline: 1 May 2026 (extended to 31 May)
Notification of results: 5 May 2026 (1 June)
How to Apply
To apply for financial support, please follow the steps below:

Send an email to icdms26@soton.ac.uk with the subject line:
“Grant Application – ICDMS” -
Include the following documents:

CV (PDF, maximum 2 pages)

Cover Letter (PDF, 1 page) explaining why attending the conference is important for your career and specifying the support requested

Publication list

Ensure that you do not exceed the stated page limits.

Ask your supervisor or a senior researcher to send a Recommendation Letter directly to icdms26@soton.ac.uk.

Make sure you have submitted your conference abstract.
Both the application materials and the recommendation letter must be received by the application deadline.
