Description
Abstract: Strong GIM and CKM suppression makes searches for c->u+invisible processes an excellent choice as null tests of NP. We evaluate various decay modes in the context of different effective field theories. We discuss heavy NP via SMEFT and nuSMEFT and also focus on light new degrees of freedom, including RH neutrinos, axion-like particles and light Z'. We show that there are still ample opportunities to search for them at current and future experiments.
