 ol on Quantum Simulation of Fundamental Physics 2026 is a three-week advan
 ced training program dedicated to quantum simulation methods and their app
 lications to high-energy and many-body physics. \nThe first edition will 
 take place at CERN from August 17th to September 4th\, 2026\, and will be 
 held in person.\n \nThe school combines morning lectures with afternoon e
 xercise sessions and supervised group projects. \nCore topics include lat
 tice gauge theory (introductory and advanced)\, quantum simulation platfor
 ms (AMO systems\, trapped ions\, cold atoms\, superconducting qubits)\, te
 nsor networks and classical simulation methods\, basics of heavy-ion physi
 cs\, and quantum algorithms for real-time evolution.\n \nThe aim will be 
 to introduce key concepts and develop an understanding of important topics
  in this field.\nIt will consist of six courses:\n \nFirst week.-\n• Pi
 lar Hernández (IFIC\, Valencia) — Introductory LGT\n• Juan José Garc
 ía-Ripoll (CSIC\, Madrid) — Quantum simulator implementations\n \nSeco
 nd week.- \n• Harvey Meyer (CERN-TH\, Geneva) — Advanced topics on LG
 T\n• Stefan Kühn (DESY\, Zeuthen) — Tensor networks\n \nThird week.-
 \n• Aleksas Mazeliauskas (Heidelberg) — Introductory HI and QCD therma
 lization\n• Yuan Su (Amazon\, t.b.c.) — Quantum algorithms for real-ti
 me evolution\n \nMarco Rigobello\, Nikolai Andre Husung\, and Giuliano Gi
 acalone supervise the projects and exercises.\n \nThe school is open to P
 hD students and junior postdoctoral researchers\, with a maximum of 50 par
