Title: Measurement of the third cumulant of electromagnetic field fluctuations
Abstract:
We present a formalism to describe the behavior or a quantum system coupled to a quantum source. In particular, we calculate the
voltage at a given point of the system (modeled as a quantum transmission line) as a function of the commutator of the current
operator of the source [I(t),I(t')], using interaction picture. For the classical case, this commutator vanishes, but for a
quantum source it gives a dependency of the voltage upon the third cumulant of the source current.
