DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Toni Sculac (University of Split Faculty of Science
(HR))\, Ramona Groeber (Università di Padova and INFN\, Sezione di Padova
)\, Claudius Krause (MBI Vienna (ÖAW))\, Arnaud Ferrari (Uppsala Universi
ty (SE))\, Alejo Nahuel Rossia (University of Padua and INFN Sezione di Pa
 dova)\, Pietro Govoni (Universita & INFN\, Milano-Bicocca (IT))\, Ilaria B
rivio (University & INFN Bologna)\n\nThis event\, organised by the COMETA
COST Action\, will provide participants from diverse backgrounds with a s
olid knowledge of the physics of multiboson processes at present and futur
e colliders.\nThe lectures will present the overall phenomenological frame
work\, with special attention to final state polarisation characterisation
. The theoretical courses will cover precision computations in the Standar
d Model\, the use of Effective Field Theory (EFT) techniques to parametriz
e New Physics effects and the study of specific Beyond Standard Model (BSM
) models relevant for multiboson processes.Hands-on exercises will be tigh
tly connected to the lectures and cover Monte Carlo generators\, EFT predi
ctions\, matching between UV models and EFTs\, and global EFT fits among o
ther topics.\nThe state-of-the-art of multi-boson studies at the LHC will
be presented\, as well as the status of the future collider capabilities i
nvestigation. Furthermore\, the students will be trained on the use of cut
ting-edge statistics and data analysis tools.\nEach day will feature morni
ng lectures and afternoon hands-on exercises.\nRegistrations open until Ju
ne the 7th.\nLecture series and Lecturers\n\nPrecision in multiboson calcu
