    Description

    We present the operational evolution of the Fermilab FTS3 for non-CMS experiments, highlighting the modernization of its Kubernetes deployment, adoption of GitOps-based automation, and migration to a more maintainable infrastructure. We discuss the introduction of elastic scaling, improved monitoring, and lessons learned from operating FTS3 in production to enhance the reliability and long-term sustainability of large-scale scientific data transfers.
