Visit has been carried out for the cutting of the ISOLTRAP wall for a future emergency exit: Severin d'Armancourt, contractor, Arthur Jaries, Erwin Siesling - position and size have been decided on and are indicated on the wall (ISOLTRAP side). - the existing services on the ISOLTRAP side will stay in place and moved down only when the full new platform floors have been installed. The power outlet on the Mezzanine side will need to be moved (action to be taken by E. Siesling). Ethernet cable for the WiFi antenna will need to be moved during cutting and re-routed once the work has finished. - cutting of the concrete will be done by carrottage rather than saw and will require blockage of the crane for ~4 days. Transport to be consulted for the handling part well in advance. - activity foreseen mid-April, after CM1 dismounting and transport has finished. Replacement of the ISOLTRAP platform is to start after that (Arthur Jaries).
Emptying of the ISOLTRAP platform advanced well (Arthur Jaries). Filling line will be installed to the top floor after which transport of dewars to the top floor isn't necessary anymore (will be in place before wall cutting).
