Description

A fourth generation of particles is a natural extension to Standard Model. The existence of such massive fermions is still consistent with precision electroweak measurements and may allow the resolution of many long-standing issues in particle physics. We present the results of searches for fourth generation quarks using the data collected during 2011 by the CMS detector at the Large Hadron Collider.
