DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Roberto Franceschini (Rome 3 U.)\n\nI will review th
 e status of new physics connected to the origin of the weak scale and its 
 relation to the dark matter puzzle. I will argue that in view of the LHC r
 esults some assumptions in building models of composite Higgs bosons shoul
 d be reviewed\, suggesting using global symmetries of their strong sector 
 to stabilize dark matter. I will discuss the embedding of dark matter in t
 hese models as a stable (partially) composite WIMP\, presenting a number o
 f possible candidates\, including "composite electroweak-inos" and other c
 andidates. I will sketch the relevant aspects of the phenomenology of thes
 e states as they appear to us while work is still in progress.\n\nhttps://
