DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Patrizia Rossi (Jefferson Lab)\, Harut Avakian (Jeff
erson Lab)\, Bakur Parsamyan (AANL\, Turin section of INFN and CERN)\n\nPa
rticipation in the RRTF is by invitation only.\nThe EMMI Rapid Reaction Ta
sk Force (RRTF) meeting\, titled“Impact of Vector Mesons on the Studies
of the 3D Structure of the Nucleon\,”will be held at CERN from 15 to 18
June 2026.\nIn accordance with the RRTF framework\, this strategic workin
g meeting is designed to bring together a focused group of world-leading e
xperts to address a specific scientific challenge: the significant and oft
en complicating role of diffractive vector mesons (VMs) in the interpretat
ion of 3D nucleon structure data. While hadron production in Deep Inelasti
c Scattering (DIS) is a primary tool for mapping quark-gluon dynamics thro
ugh TMDs and GPDs\, the presence of exclusive VMs can substantially modify
multiplicities and spin asymmetries\, potentially biasing phenomenologica
l extractions.\nThe primary goal of this RRTF is to move beyond the standa
rd conference format and establish a unified theoretical and experimental
roadmap. Participants will engage in intensive discussions and collaborati
ve problem-solving to define rigorous strategies for VM subtraction and to
develop the next generation of Monte Carlo and AI-based tools required fo
r high-precision data interpretation at facilities such as JLab and the fu
ture EIC.\nThe scientific programme will focus on the following topics:\n\
 n\nTheory of vector-meson production\n\n\nExperimental measurements of vec
tor mesons in leptoproduction and Monte Carlo development\n\n\nIdentifying
the critical path for helicity-amplitude extractions using Artificial Int
elligence tools: LOGISTIC and SCOPE\n\n\n \nFormat:The meeting will co
nsist of informal presentations and extended round-table working sessions
aimed at producing a final RRTF report.\nDuration:The workshop will span f
 our days\, concluding on Thursday\, 18 June.Friday\, 19 June is reserved
exclusively for the Organizing Committee to synthesize the working-group
results\, finalize the draft RRTF report\, and outline the follow-up publi
cation.\nAttendance:Participation is by invitation only to ensure a focuse
d and productive environment for these high-level technical discussions.\n

the present status and point out open issues and possible future developm
