  to facilitate initiatives related to particle accelerators involving acad
 emia and research\, industry representatives\, societal and political acto
 rs. \nDuring the Welcome and Networking event\, academia and political au
 thorities as well as invited keynote speakers will highlight the importanc
 e of science and fundamental research for the progress and wellbeing of th
 e broader society.\nThe Workshop on Low Energy Accelerators will establish
  connections of scientists of the region and expert european institutes\, 
 with mutual interests\, supporting capacity building.\nIn parallel\, the C
 hallenge Based Innovation will give to selected students the opportunity t
 o imagine innovative applications of Low Energy Accelerators\, from concep
