Workshop organisation and practical information

Workshop organisation: 

Workshop is organised by an international team of researchers from University of Beihang and University of Belgrade, in cooperation with researchers from IHEP Beijing and Université Claude Bernard Lyon, and with advices from colleagues from various collaborating institutions. Some of the key contributions come from the following team:

Workshop venue and practical information:

Workshop will be held at the Faculty of Physics in Belgrade, located at the centre of the old town of Belgrade, and at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade, located at the banks of the river Danube. Workshop presentations and discussions will take place at the library of the institute, and coffee/refreshment breaks will be organised between the sessions.

Arriving to the venue at the Faculty of Physics in Belgrade should be easy on foot from the Belgrade city centre, and exact location is show below.

Arriving to the venue at the Institute of Physics in Belgrade from the Belgrade city centre takes about 20 min. by car/taxi or up to 45 min. by public transport buses from Zeleni venac bus stop: buses 84, 704, 706 and 707 (exiting at Tršćanska or Filipa Višnjića bus stop). There are, in addition, bus lines 17, 73, 703, 705 arriving to the same bus stops from different parts of Belgrade, for those who might need it. The tickets can be bought at the kiosks.

Arriving to the Belgrade city from the airport:

The easiest way to reach the city from the Belgrade airport "Nikola Tesla" is by one of the A1 buses, which depart from the airport on every full hour. A ticket costs 400 RSD (cash only, in the bus). Exit the bus on its last station on Slavija Square, and then the trolleybuses 19, 21, 22, 22L and 29 will take you to the city centre (or it can be also reached on foot). Please note that the public transport in Belgrade is free, and it overs multiple buses, trolleybuses and trams.

For all information regarding taxi services from the airport, please contact the city service TAXI INFO, located in the baggage claim area and please do not forget to take the receipt at the airport Info Desk specifying the desired destination and the price for the taxi service. A taxi should not cost more than 3000 RSD to the city centre. It is better to have cash with you.
