DESCRIPTION:Speakers: Vsevolod Chestnov (Oxford)\n\nDifferential equations
are one of the main tools for the study of Feynman integrals. In this tal
k\, I will discuss an algebraic approach to constructing such equations ba
sed on D-module theory. Starting from parametric representations\, one can
construct differential operators that annihilate the corresponding integr
als. These annihilators define a D-module and can also be used to derive f
irst-order systems of differential equations for suitable finite bases of
integrals. I will then explain how such systems can be restricted to singu
lar limits\, leading to systematic asymptotic expansions involving powers
and logarithms. I will illustrate the general pipeline from annihilators t
o expansions with simple examples of hypergeometric and Feynman integrals.
