Auditoriums

The conference will take place in the UCLouvain Sciences building.

The Sciences building houses the auditoriums of the same name. With its 600 seats, the SCES 10 auditorium is the largest one in the upper part of the city (Science and Technology zone) and the second in Louvain-la-Neuve.

The building boasts modern architecture that enhances both functionality and aesthetics, making it inviting for students, researchers, and visitors. It is designed to foster collaboration and interdisciplinary studies within various scientific fields.

It is located at the "Place des Sciences", which is a prominent square located in the heart of Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium. This area serves as a center for academic, cultural, and recreational activities, primarily catering to the needs of the Université catholique de Louvain (UCLouvain) student population and visitors.

The architectural layout of Place des Sciences reflects modern designs combined with practical functionality. The surrounding buildings are primarily designed for academic purposes, featuring libraries, research centers, and meeting spaces. The area emphasizes pedestrian accessibility, enhancing its appeal for informal gatherings and events.

This square symbolizes the blend of academic excellence and community engagement that defines Louvain-la-Neuve. Its design and functionality cater to the dynamic lifestyle of students while serving the broader community.

In essence, Place des Sciences is more than just a central plaza; it's a reflection of the city’s commitment to fostering educational and cultural developments in a collaborative environment. Visitors to Louvain-la-Neuve often find it a perfect starting point for exploring both the university and the vibrant life surrounding it.
