1. Discussion on the process of linking the electromagnetic simulation data to ANSYS

• Linking data from NIQS to ANSYS works
• One timestamp of one measurement file tested
• Boundary conditions seem fine
• Stresses in the order of GPa observed
• Now:
• Investigate on ramping scheme and time constant reduction

News on 77K setup

• Current injection burned through where it was isolated by plastic guides
• Now:
• 200 um tape (soldered) instead of 70 um
• Adjustments to holder and tape guides for better thermal exchange/nitrogen access

Compression test simulation

• 2D and 3D models validated
• 10% error between 2D and 3D models
• 1.8x-2x mismatch to measurement data
• Now:
• Mesh matching for better contact surfaces in 3D
