News:
- Heavy Ion data distribution started
- RAL is going to get ~650TB
Operational issues:
- High failure rate for MCSimulation jobs is still present
- Incorrect CPU requirement from LHCb
- Per-job CPU limits are set in DB-12 seconds (DB-12 is LHCb benchmark);
- DB-12 was supposed to match HS06 some time ago, but it is no longer the case;
- At RAL the difference between HS23 and DB12 is quite significant, more than at other sites (probably due to HyperThreading?), therefore we are more affected by this problem;
- Would it be possible to expose HS23 value of the WN's cores somehow (e.g. via env variable)?
- DRIAC FileCatalog issues last Thursday and Friday
- Probably caused by some DB issues at CERN, though not verified yet
- Resulted in lots of completed and failed jobs across the grid.
