 FIC)\n\nWe present results for $f_K/f_{π}$ with $N_f=2+1$ flavors\, along
  with a determination of $|V_{us}|$ and a study on the unitarity of the fi
 rst row of the Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa (CKM) matrix after introducing st
 rong isospin-breaking and QED effects. The results obtained are based on a
  combination of a Wilson unitary action and a mixed action setup using Wil
 son twisted mass fermions in the valence\, based on CLS ensembles. The com
 bination of the two regularizations enables a more precise control over th
 e continuum limit extrapolation\, as both setups must share the same conti
 nuum limit\, yet can exhibit distinct cutoff effects.\n\nhttps://indico.ce
